UX Designer (m/f/d)

As a UX Designer at Shopware you will considerably advance the future of our ecommerce solutions. With the help of our design system, you work in a team to develop solutions and ideas which enable online shop operators to make great customer experiences a reality and to conduct their own business successfully. Would you like to have a direct effect on this Shopware ecosystem? Perfect! No matter where you work from, you will be an integral part of our team. This is why we are looking throughout Germany for UX Designers. These are your tasks: You work on design concepts and prototypes for our Shopware open source product. You independently develop user interfaces here and cooperate closely with the UI-/UX architects as well as with product owners and software developers. You ensure the best possible UX and design implementation and you never lose sight of the defined requirements. You independently carry out the first tests with the help of prototypes and create mock-ups for diverse approaches. This is what you’ll bring to the table: You have 3 years’ experience in UX design and/or visual design and you are also happy to demonstrate this to us via a portfolio of reference projects. You are well-versed in designing complex software architectures. You are very familiar with current design and prototyping tools, for example, Sketch and Figma. Additional knowledge of HTML, CSS and current frameworks are an advantage but not essential. You are confident with your excellent communication skills in both German and English. Ideally, you are adept at ecommerce and preferably have the relevant industry knowledge. You stand out due to your empathy, solution orientation and design skills, which are well above average.
