Dr. Christoph Zipfel is an expert in economic development with over 15 years of experience in project design and implementation in Africa. Christoph previously worked for McKinsey & Company and led the FCDO funded programme ‘Manufacturing Africa’ for the last 5 years, before rejoining GIZ as programme director for the economic development cluster in Kenya. He currently manages a portfolio of around 15 projects (commissioned by the German government) that contribute towards inclusive economic transformation in Kenya.
