Rob van Hout is a Private Sector Development Advisor at Helvetas and brings 15 years of multi-country experience in international cooperation. After completing a Masters in International Development and Environment, he worked as policy and project manager for Fair Trade, as researcher on food systems in Bangladesh, and as knowledge manager on youth employment and governance programs in Eastern Europe. Since 2018 he has been a senior advisor for income and private sector development projects with a thematic focus on market systems, vocational skills and value chain development.
