Jack is a Director at Gatsby Africa, leading an East Africa MSD programme focused on the sustainable planted forestry and timber manufacturing sectors. Previous experiences include working in a sustainability and climate change consultancy practice at PwC in the UK; developing pro-poor carbon finance projects as part of a network of grassroot NGOs in southern India; and implementing forestry carbon projects in East and Southern Africa for a private sector forestry company. Jack holds a BA in Economics from University of Newcastle, and an MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh.
