Clara works as Principal Consultant, Environment and Climate Change, at the Canopy Lab. Clara specialises in inclusive market systems, private sector development and job creation. She is passionate about the circular economy and regenerative entrepreneurship and has supported businesses in sectors including tourism, agribusiness, ICT and finance to pilot innovative business models. She brings a systems lens to her work, and enjoys brokering relations between public and private sector players that often lead to an improved business environment. Clara has provided managerial and technical inputs to the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of sustainable and inclusive systems development programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia and the Balkans. She has also participated in designing DCED-compliant results management frameworks, and has overseen and contributed to the roll-out of quantitative and qualitative research studies, including for programme evaluations.
