Stephan Jean-Pierre is an Agricultural Economist with several years of experience in the private sector, as an entrepreneur, and in the development world. He works as a Private Sector Engagement Advisor at Catholic Relief Services (CRS), a leading global humanitarian and development agency that reaches over 130 million people across more than 110 countries. He supports global and regional teams to integrate private sector and market development perspectives into strategies, programme design, implementation and learning. He is passionate about improving the efficiency and effectiveness of food aid, having seen both the lifesaving potential and the economic risks when growing up in Haiti.
