Paul is the Team Leader for SHARPE, the Strengthening Host and Refugee Populations in Ethiopia programme, implemented by DAI. SHARPE uses an adapted market systems development approach to create conditions for economic inclusion of refugees in three refugee hosting regions of Ethiopia. For the past 15 years Paul has worked with people affected by conflict and displacement, increasingly specialising in finding longer-term, private sector led solutions to the challenges faced by people in crisis. Prior to Ethiopia he worked in Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Timor Leste and the Philippines.
