Jamie Smith is an expert in competition economics, antitrust enforcement, and industrial organisation. He has been the Chief Economist at the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) since 2020, and was previously Senior Economist at the FCCC and an Assistant Economist in the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority. Jamie holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. He is also a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Edinburgh.
