Hanneke Oudkerk is a strategic leader in international development with over two decades of experience driving change in child and youth development, public health, social protection, and environmental resilience. She currently serves as Regional Director for Asia at ChildFund International, where she oversees programs across India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, with a focus on locally led solutions and cross-sector partnerships.
Hanneke has lived and worked in Asia since 2012, including in Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia, bringing a deep understanding of the region’s development dynamics. She is committed to innovation and systems thinking, integrating technology and anticipatory action into development programming, particularly to support children and families affected by climate shocks.
She is a champion of collaborative leadership, design thinking, and co-creation with civil society, private sector, and government stakeholders. Hanneke works to strengthen platforms where children and youth can thrive—healthy, educated, skilled, and safe.
She is especially interested in forging innovative partnerships for social impact—and welcomes collaboration to scale high-potential, community-driven solutions across Asia.
