FIRESIDE CHAT #5 Returning cities to their rightful owners

Though it is sad to say, it is undeniable that our cities are no longer structured for the people that they were built for - instead, the private car is the dominating resident. But, as concepts such as the 15 minute city become more viable and priorities shift to a more sustainable focus, stakeholders are beginning to reconsider what our cities should look like. Here, speakers will discuss the changes that are currently being made by towns and cities across the globe to re-prioritise people over vehicles, and will consider the impact of the introduction of better walking and cycling infrastructure, low emission zones, better traffic management and a bigger focus on improved air quality.
