Join us as we celebrate the winner of the 2020 Sam Adams Award for Integrity in Intelligence, former MI5 Intelligence Officer Annie Machon.
The Sam Adams Award is given annually, usually but not always, to an intelligence professional who has demonstrated a commitment to truth and integrity, no matter what the consequences. The award is named after Samuel A. Adams, a CIA whistleblower during the Vietnam War. Previous Sam Adams recipients have included former NSA Senior Analyst Thomas Drake, former British intelligence translator Katharine Gun, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, former NSA Analyst Edward Snowden, former FBI officer Coleen Rowley, and many more.
