Established in 2010, ABO Wind NI Ltd is a subsidiary of the German-based ABO Wind AG, one of Europe’s most experienced wind energy developers. The company was founded in 1996 and has over 1200 employees across 16 countries including Germany, France, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, Argentina, Canada, and Finland. ABO Wind has 3 UK offices located in Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. The company has been successful in developing multiple renewable technologies, with the construction of wind farms, solar farms, biogas, and hydrogen plants with an output of more than 5GW globally. The Company currently has a global pipeline c. 22GW.
