Information

China is a huge player in AI, but to the best of my knowledge, no one is dedicated to actively working on AI x animals (AIA) in China, which seems to be a huge opportunity. This unconference session is a casual, open brainstorming space for anyone curious about what it would look like to start an AIA movement in China.

Disclaimer: I haven't done a ton of thinking about this, so this session will look more like a brainstorming session (and I'd love to hear from anyone who has done more thinking about this)! Potential questions we'll explore:
+ What would “AI going well for animals” look like in China?
+ Who might care about this or be good to involve?
+ What’s different about this compared to the US or Europe?
+ What would some realistic first steps look like?

Come if you’re interested in getting the AIxA movement started in China.
