History and Directions in LED Product Design

When modern virtual production landed on the scene there wasn’t purpose-built displays for large LED volumes, but the live events industry had been using and improving LED walls for several years. As creatives began mixing technologies together and pushing the envelope of what was possible to do in camera a set of criteria and specifications emerged among the majority of large LED volumes today. What made those specifications work for ICVFX and where are those specifications leading us next?
