Sound Design Intensive

This event requires separate registration or a PREMIER pass.

This workshop will focus on the sound design for a section from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by sound designers who work in both fiction and non-fiction audio. Step by step, we’ll see each sound designer’s workflow and process for how they’d design the scene in their chosen DAW, each different. How does each person handle ambient noise, footsteps, and maybe the occasional piece of magic? What cues in the dialogue does each person look for to inform the design?
