In this panel, Niala Boodhoo and Kevin Eckstrom discuss how conversations between people of diverse faiths or no faith can help us strengthen the democratic institutions that make America strong. While polarization continues to plague American discourse, interfaith discussions introduce listeners to their neighbors and help listeners understand the motivations of the people around them — motivations that influence how people vote, participate in government, invest in community, and negotiate public space. And podcasts are the perfect forum for these instructive conversations.
