The Pensions Archive Trust (PAT) is a charity which has been working since 2007 to capture the history of the development of occupational pensions in the UK. Working in collaboration with the London Metropolitan Archive, PAT is developing an extensive archive of material donated by pension schemes, pensions bodies and professional associations and by individuals influential in the development of pensions. The archive is available, both physically and increasingly digitally, to pension professionals and historians, who want to learn more about the successes and shortcomings of UK pensions, helping inform future development.
PAT is funded solely by charitable donations, principally from leading commercial organisations and professional bodies active in UK pensions.
