The lifecycle of a product storage tank is used to show the audience how to drive efficiency through various aspects of tank integrity management. While this includes considerations for initial construction and decommissioning, the focus is on the 50+ operational years in between. This is the main part of the lifecycle where tanks are operated, inspected and repaired as-needed. By leveraging data driven RBI out of service intervals and technology, the out of service intervals can be extended significantly. Once a tank needs to be taken out of service, opportunities to streamline the execution of the inspection and repairs are also discussed.
