Engaging Local Actors from Start to Evaluation

There is an ongoing effort in the philanthropic and development sectors toward greater localization - the inclusion and engagement of local actors in the design, implementation, and evaluation of social programs and interventions, in practice, authentic inclusion and engagement of local actors with lived-experiences falls short. And, local true power-sharing by funders/investors remain elusive. How can this be overcome?
