[FR] Alexandria, nouvel univers virtuel créé par le NewImages Festival et Cannes XR

Avec Alexandria un monde nouveau s’offre à vous. Inspirée du port d’Alexandrie, ce métavers forme un espace à part, à la fois lieu culturel et point de départ vers d’autres mondes. Du 8 au 12 juin, vous y retrouverez la sélection du Newimages Festival, soit une quinzaine d’œuvres dont de nombreuses premières internationales. Développée par la société Kreis, l’application Alexandria est le fruit d’une collaboration entre le NewImages Festival et Cannes XR. L’application est disponible sur les plateformes Steam et Oculus Quest. Elle aura vocation à accueillir des expositions et des évènements tout au long de l’année.

With Alexandria a brand new world begins. Inspired by the authentic port of Alexandria, this metaverse forms a unique place, both a cultural space and the point of departure towards other worlds. From June 8th to June 12 th, you will find all the artworks selected by the NewImages Festival, more than a dozen pieces of art will be shown including numerous international premieres. Developed in collaboration with Kreis, the application Alexandria will be accessible on Steam and Oculus Quest. It will extend its exhibition and events throughout the year.
