Vodafone: Thriving in a Multi-cloud Era Through Democratisation of DevOps

As organisations move to widely adopting Public Cloud, DevSecOps and API & Microservice strategies, they need to maintain and increase software development velocity in a complex technology and multi-cloud ecosystems. To maintain this velocity and create sustainable, scalable adoption we need to put the software development team at the centre of the cloud provisioning process and completely automate self-service provisioning. Vodafone is working closely with MongoDB on the development of the Telco as a Service (TaaS) platform. In this presentation we will show you how the TaaS Self-Service Portal and TaaS Registry run on MongoDB Atlas and provide a simple self-service auto-provisioning of cloud services and cloud environments to our software development teams. This allows provisioning of cloud environments and their DevSecOps pipelines within minutes whereas historically these would have taken months. You’ll learn how this self-service auto-provisioning is unlocking engineering effort, increasing software development velocity and driving adoption of best-practice automation within DevSecOps pipelines, creating the ultimate developer experience.
