A Cybersecurity Observatory to guide conscious and strategic decisions
Information
To build the right foundations for long-term growth, SMEs have put a lot of emphasis on innovation and digital strategies as the competitive key to transformation and competitive sustainability. Increasingly, however, this means that SMEs are facing cybersecurity challenges.
Most technological transformations focus primarily on increasing functionality and business value rather than on cybersecurity, thus hampering the potential negative impact of associated risks.
Digital innovation, technology automation and the use of remote platforms and services require security leaders to adopt new strategies to protect corporate endpoints from attacks.
In addition, the people involved in the implementation of new solutions usually have very specific skills and are limited to a few narrow areas of expertise, whereas the SMEs of the future will increasingly require skills in several areas, e.g. network security, embedded systems, OT and IT security, to name a few.
In order to support this transition, which has been ongoing for years now, the NC3 established a Cybersecurity Observatory.
This presentation will explore the scope and many advantages of such an observatory for decision-makers and business owners in order to strengthen their cybersecurity strategy and grow their overall business activities.
