SmartShip: Digital Twins for Intelligent Ships and Ship Fleets
Tuesday, May 31, 2022 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM · 9 hr. 30 min. (Europe/Berlin)
Foyer 3 + H - Ground Floor
Information
The main objective of the project is the creation of an AI-based system for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring that allows real-time analyses of the ship’s sensor data and detects anomalies in the system behavior. For this purpose, we combine a huge array of sensors together with external sources such as navigation, weather, cameras, etc. into a uniform forecast model called the digital twin of the ship. The obtained knowledge from a digital copy of a single ship is then transferred to the entire fleet, allowing efficient service planning and search maneuver coordination.
