FES provides gear and equipment for the German national teams. Thus, the core competence of the institute is to optimise the interaction of athletes and their equipment. Simulation is the most innovative tool in development of summer and winter sports such as canoeing or bobsleigh, respectively. This presentation gives a short overview of how FES works and how it utelises HPC in CFD in their development processes.
