Plenary Session 5: Bringing Lived Experience into Foundational and Translational Neuroscience

A structured discussion chaired by Emily Wheeler (MQ) introducing the GALENOS collaboration for evidence synthesis in foundational mental health science. Director Andrea Cipriani will set out the basis of GALENOS and introduce the opportunities and challenges of integrating lived experience in a complex evidence synthesis project. Tate Kambeu, Lived Experience Lead on GALENOS, will talk through lived experience engagement including global perspectives. The speakers will discuss in full, frank detail concrete examples of issues and solutions that the audience can use in their research.
