S04: Novel electrophysiological approaches to study disordered brain networks

Room 12
Sponsored Symposium

Information

Convened by Neuroscience Ireland

In this symposium we bring together former and current participants in the IERC, to present recent findings using approaches including TMS,EMG, pupillometry and EEG on the healthy and disordered brain, in order to devise new ways to support individuals with neurological disorders.

  • Chair: Dr Kathy Ruddy: Advancing Brain-Computer Interfaces from bench to bedside for neurorehabilitation using TMS-Neurofeedback
  • Chair: Dr Peter Murphy: Identifying a shared source of age-related decline in working memory and decision-making
  • Dr Ciara Egan: Pupillary and electrophysiological responses during reading in adults with dyslexia
  • Dr Roisin McMackin: Can TMS detect pre-symptomatic neurodegenerative diseases?
