Update in Liver Resections for Primary Liver Cancer
Plenary Room "Roma"
Information
In recent years, and with surgical and postoperative improvements, surgical approaches to liver cancer are changing. In this symposium we will update the current status of liver resections for primary liver cancer.
Key take away points:
• Indications for Liver Surgery may be changing with minimally invasive approaches.
• iCCA benefits from liver surgery but not all patients should be operated.
• The benefits of augmented reality in liver surgery are not yet evident but will impact on surgical management in the near future.
