Based at Glasgow Prestwick Airport and operating globally, Quantum provides airspace security services with a focus on counter drone solutions - enabling customers to better secure their airspace and so continue operations with minimal disruptive effects from drones. The Company offers end-to-end services for customers including risk assessment, equipment recommendation, supply, installation and commissioning, training and support. Quantum’s staff have unique and unparalleled experience in the sector having delivered the entire airspace security plan for the London Olympics and numerous counter-terrorism projects in their former military careers. The Company has delivered strategic airspace security consultancy for the FIFA2022 World Cup and currently provides a drone counter measure to a major capital UK airport under a 12-month equipment and support contract. This project, using equipment from a US-based OEM, has seen the introduction of the world’s first active counter measure designed to get airports back to business as soon as possible following a drone sighting and minimise the negative safety and economic effects thereof. Quantum has delivered a full operational package for the airport allowing them to safely and effectively minimise disruption and the Company continues to mentor and support the project. This work stream will continue in parallel with the Company’s proposed expansion into its own CUAS solutions, as the airport market is expected to deliver strong growth for Quantum’s current projects. The Company is currently seeking investment partners to deliver 2 new projects and establish itself as an OEM in its own right and thus exploit the $2.5bn market demand for counter drone solutions.
