Novacyt are a manufacturer of PCR reagents and instrumentation which can support many parts of the food industry supply and production chains. Our kits can be used for testing in meat, fish & vegetarian products.

Our pathogen detection kits can be used to check whether potentially harmful pathogens including Salmonella, Legionella, E-coli or campylobacter have contaminated production facilities or raw materials.

Novacyt has a range of speciation kits for both meat and fish that can be used to detect accidental contamination or intentional adulteration of foodstuffs. This portfolio can also allow for confirmation that no animal products have potentially contaminated any vegetarian or vegan products.

In addition to our food testing kits we have a range of tests for detecting bacteria that could potentially spoil beer and wine products.

Novacyt’s kits can be used on our own PCR instruments as well as third party platforms.
