Automated Rack Frost Remover The LabElite DeFroster is an innovative new product developed by Hamilton Storage that quickly removes frost that may obscure 2D barcodes on sample racks. The DeFroster cleans sample racks using mechanical brushes and defrosting/de-icing solvent. It has a compact footprint and can be used on a benchtop or mobilized cart, allowing users to transfer the product between labs and operate solely on battery power. With the device's revolutionary hands-free design, users will not have to handle harsh liquids or inhale noxious fumes during the defrosting process.
