Session Information

Sustainability is a key concern of our society. This session aims at reflecting on the various ethical, legal, and societal aspects of the sustainability of our lives on this planet, the lives of future generations, the lives of many now endangered organisms, and the life of the planet itself, and the role that biobanking practices plays in it.

The format of an Ethics Café provides an opportunity to share views on specific topics in an informal setting. A debate is kick-started by a provocative opening statement or an engaging talk. The audience is invited to participate, ask questions, provide new insights for an ultimately thought-provoking dialogue. This session does not have a call for abstracts. It is a live session.
