Our product, XNO®, is a differentiated battery material providing a technical and commercial advantages in high-value, fast-growing markets, which are not addressed by other anode technologies. XNO® meets the needs of the mining industry, who require unrivalled levels of safety, and low total cost of ownership, uniquely well.

We are a Charge On Innovation Challenge Winner and we specialise in the development and supply at gigawatt-hour scale, of lithium-ion anode materials based on niobium.

Powered by XNO® means lithium ion batteries that can safety fast charge in less than 10 minutes, maintain high energy densities even at low temperatures, and deliver high power across a cycle life of more than 10,0000 cycles.

Echion operates out of its state-of-the-art develop facilities in Sawston, Cambridge. With a team of 40 and growing, Echion is ready to support global industries in their transition to net-zero.
