His career in the industry started in 2003 at Ubisoft Bucharest as a Game Tester for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the critically acclaimed Rainbow Six: Raven Shield and Beyond Good & Evil. Cristian soon transitioned to the Xbox Compliance Department where he was instrumental in establishing the department as the best compliance department in Ubisoft and one of the best in the industry. A shift in Cristian’s career happened in 2009 when he accepted the challenge of becoming Project Closer for Avatar – The Game. A Project Closer accompanies the team in the toughest phase of the project making sure that the launch is successful from quality and timeline perspective. This was just the beginning – he became one of the most prolific Project Closers in Ubisoft, having closed multiple games such as Splinter Cell 5 Conviction, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Driver San Francisco, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist and more. Cristian joined Ivory Tower studio in 2013 as Producer for The Crew, where all his valuable online experience cumulated over the years was used to release the first online-only open world game in Ubisoft. After shipping The Crew, he joined Massive Entertainment who, together with an exceptional team of developers, released the world fastest selling new games IP – The Division. Since then Cristian has been the Senior Producer for both Division 1 Post Launch and The Division 2. Cristian is an avid fan of Formula 1 and his all-time favorite driver is Michael Schumacher.
