Come take a quick dive into some of our most important topics. Each presenter will share their message in 5 minutes or less. Following their talk, speakers will stay on for live Q&A from the audience.          

  • Flash Talk 1: Dumpster diving in the emergency department - One passionate medical student is dumpster diving to reduce waste. Learn more about their efforts to cut down on waste in the ER. (Sarah Hsu)              
  • Flash Talk 2: Connecting equity & sustainability for purchasing strategies - Equity and environmental health are critical components of improving community health.   • Flash Talk 3: Bolstering equity in kitchen operations (No CE)- Hear from a food service director and her retail manager who are working together to empower employees, change staffing practices, and build more trust and equity into daily kitchen operations.
