Despite strict laws, cannabis use remains widespread, underscoring the failure of current repressive measures that criminalize personal use and cultivation. These policies have fostered a significant illegal market, leading to adverse health and social impacts. Regulating cannabis could provide economic benefits and support public health initiatives through tax revenues. This panel will advocate for a rational, evidence-based approach to cannabis regulation.
