About Miki Suinen’s stage activities - Focusing on the poetry collection "Dance of Jellyfish"

Miki Suinen (Real name is Mika Sugitani) started classical ballet at the age of 9, and learned about contemporary dance and butoh during my university days, and began to pursue physical expression (dance). I stopped her stage activities for the past seven years, because of her poor health condition, But I resumed her stage activities last year. This time, I will mainly to make a commentary my work on the original poetry collection "Dance of Jellyfish" created in 2012 by Miki Mizuzen. I created 15 poems based on her experiences, words, thoughts, and images from her childhood to around the age of 30, and compiled them into a collection of poems.
