Calgary Economic Development’s Film Commission office in collaboration with local scouts facilitate tours of Calgary region locations for producers, filmmakers and location managers considering the area as a filming location. In addition, the office provides a one-window access for all City of Calgary location permits.
By the end of 2022 Calgary will have 700K sq. ft. of studio space including the Calgary Film Centre, Rocky Mountain Film Studios and William F. White International Inc. studios
With a strong focus on gaming, immersive technologies, e-learning and digital media, Calgary’s Interactive Digital Media sector is experiencing rapid growth.
