Stephanie Carter, Executive Producer, is the Executive Producer of the long-running, national forensic science series Secrets of the Dead. Having spent several years working as a writer and editor for various magazines and websites, she transitioned to television production in 2005. Since then, she has worked on countless documentaries and documentary series including the Emmy-winning Mysterious Human Heart and the Sloan Foundation funded series The Human Spark with Alan Alda. She was also a producer on numerous series from Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr.’s including African American Lives, Finding Your Roots and the Peabody-, Emmy- and DuPont-award winning African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross. Stephanie has served on several panels for New York Women in Film & Television and Brooklyn Film Festival events.
