Delegate in attendance: Mark Harrison, Executive Producer Firecrest Films is an independent television production company. We are based in the stunning Fairfields building in Govan, Glasgow. In January 2017, Channel 4 acquired a minority stake in the company, enabling us to expand our creative team and diversify. In March 2018 we were named as the fastest growing independent production company outside of London by Broadcast magazine. In August 2020 we were nominated as 'Small Indie of the Year' by the Edinburgh TV Festival. We make high profile films and series for major broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
UK IndiesUKindies is the official UK delegation hosting specialist factual producers who are looking to develop new business and create partnerships with international buyers.  The companies are members of Pact, the UK trade association representing and promoting the commercial interests of independent television, feature film, digital, children’s and animation production companies.  The UK is the world’s second largest exporter of TV content – and the global market for UK television productions is now worth more than £1.47 billion.
