Information

Mediterranean Sea, April 2021: An unprecedented Franco-American mission is preparing to go to unusual depths to test the capabilities and resilience of a technological jewel: Ocean One. The humanoid robot will dive more than 500 meters into the sea to explore four WWII era wrecks. If the first dive at -54 meters succeeds, the success of the other three will mark a revolution in the study of the ocean floor, confirming the major role that such a robot can play in carrying out deep sea archaeological work, thus allowing to unlock the secrets of the millions of wrecks still sleeping deep below our ocean’s surface. The success of this mission will open up a new era in underwater archaeology. by Mathieu Pradinaud Production: GEDEON programmes, DRASSM in association with CANAL + Group Length 90’, 52’ Delivery DECEMBER 2021 IN PRODUCTION
