Aimé Boisjoli

Aimé has worked for years in the entertainment sector, having worked in television behind the camera as a production assistant and production coordinator and in front of the camera as a co-host. In the performing arts he played various roles, from sound technician to Executive Director of an arts development non-profit organization. Aimé was an arts consultant for the Province of Manitoba and has an MBA from the Asper School of Business. He is also a proud Métis Franco-Manitoban. Aimé returned to the world of audiovisual production firstly as a Business Affairs Manager for a Canadian Indigenous production company and recently cofounded Canoë Rouge Inc. with his colleague, Alain Dondo. Aimé a commencé sa carrière dans le monde de la production événementielle et audiovisuelle à Winnipeg, au Manitoba, il y a presque 20 ans. D’abord devant la caméra à titre d’animateur, ensuite derrière la caméra comme coordonnateur et assistant de production. Il a aussi occupé des postes différents dans l’industrie des arts de la scène, en tant que technicien de son et de lumières, comme comédien, ainsi que comme directeur général d’un organisme artistique où Aimé a produit plus de 100 événements musicaux. Détenteur d’un MBA de l’école Asper School of Business de l’Université du Manitoba, il a eu l’occasion d’être un consultant en arts pour le gouvernement du Manitoba pendant quatre ans. Fier Franco-Métis, Aimé Boisjoli a récemment fait un retour vers la production audiovisuelle d’abord avec une compagnie autochtone, puis en fondant sa propre compagnie, avec son collègue Alain Dondo.
