Fit for purpose innovations to address women’s cancers
Information
Tackling the global challenge of improving the early detection, diagnosis, and life-long care for women suffering from cancer – focusing on breast and cervical cancer- requires novel approaches, technologies, and partnerships. While we have more evidence-based interventions than ever to address the increasing incidence and mortality of cancer in women, innovations are needed to improve the delivery of existing and new technologies, financing, adoption of healthcare policies, and to ensure equitable access to high-quality diagnostics and treatment.
This session brings together experts from the implementation, policy, industry, global advocacy, and medical and health systems fields to discuss their vision for the next 5-10 years in women’s cancer control, and what is needed to achieve these ideal, not projected, future states. With a room full of world leaders, this is an opportunity to come together to discuss innovations that can change the trajectory of cancer in women around the world.
