Texas Children’s Global HOPE is a capacity-building initiative to train African doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare workers to improve the diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer. It is estimated that by 2050, half of all the world’s childhood cancers will be in sub-Saharan Africa, making development of the pediatric cancer workforce even more important.
