In this session we will review the advances made in recent years in childhood cancer care and control globally, through the development of comprehensive programs that bring together academia, healthcare systems, global agencies, governments, professional organizations, and advocacy groups. The panelists will discuss how to successfully prioritize childhood cancer initiatives in the context of the SDG, the different models of intervention, and how the WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer has been able to accelerate progress through a multi-stakeholder engagement.
