Teamlead (f/m/d) AI and Machine Learning

As our new AI Team Lead, you’ll help us driving our vision to turn Axel Springer into an AI-first company. Your main responsibilities will be to scope and realize innovative projects with various companies inside Axel Springer such as StepStone, Upday, WELT etc., to create machine learning solutions they will use in production. Moreover, you will look after the health, morale, and efficiency of your team and, ultimately, make it the first-choice entity within Axel Springer regarding AI, see ai.axelspringer.com. Become a Teamlead AI and create innovative machine learning projects together with team leads/Product owners from various Axel Springer subgroups - you will help the team define scope, requirements, and features for the projects - you will keep your team effective by building and maintaining processes and workflows - you collaborate with Machine Learning Developers in your team through GitHub pull requests and code reviews - you focus on the professional and personal growth of your team members, including conducting performance and compensation reviews - you build and maintain a team of people who trust each other, are not afraid of criticism, are committed and accountable, and who care about results - you like to apply Agile and Lean principles in your work - you contribute together with your team to the overall vision of AI within Axel Springer You are a passionate about AI and a visionary thinking mind - you are a teamlead who knows how to make your team work effectively - you have gained experience working with deep learning models as well as classical machine learning models including production and deployment - you are community-facing and hence, care about open source, conferences, meetups, etc. - you still like putting together some code or showcases, in order to bring emerging or running projects to the ramp
