Software Engineer Tracking (m/f/d)

Become a experienced frontend developer who wants to be part of building our data foundation. This includes to work with requirements from a lot of different teams to make sure that the data we need for all our smart services are collected. • you will be an active part of our small agile team that is responsible for the tracking implementation of all our brands (especially Welt & Bild) • this includes all steps of the pipeline - from planning and specifying new data points for products up to make that data usefull in different analysis • you will share your knowledge and make sure that there is only one tracking reality for the whole organization • you will shape the data points that describes the behavior of millions of active users • you build solutions to understand the behavior of our users better and feed all other products that use this data • you will play a vital part in building our automated testing environment, which helps us to trust our data all the time (JavaScript based which runs on CI/CD) • you drive the team in modern software development processes and help to build tooling wich allows to apply them on Tealium (TiQ) You are a curious and solution-oriented team player with a passion for data & innovation • you know about agile team setups and have worked in one before • you know the value of pull requests and reviews • you deployed and maintained software in a professional environment for more than 2 years • you love Javascript/Typescript and know all the quirks that browsers can have • you build your tools in a test driven way • you have worked before with a Tag Management system • you have proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines • you have proven experience in the world of webautomation and automated testing • you are fluent in English – German is a plus • as a plus you have tipped your toes already in native mobile development (Swift and Kotlin)
