How ETFE delivers high-performance, lightweight, structurally efficient, and sustainable building envelopes
Information
ETFE foil is the building material of the future!
The first ETFE project was built in 1982 by Vector Foiltec, and the company has now completed over 1,700 projects worldwide. The Singapore National Stadium Moving Roof, Resorts World Sentosa, Beijing Watercube, The Shed in New York, The Jewel at Changi Airport, The Avenues in Kuwait - all these are successful and versatile use cases for an ETFE roof or facade.
Matthew Penrose, Executive Vice President Asia Pacific, will explain how the ETFE foil system works and how you can integrate the light-weight material into your project.
ETFE foil systems have already proven themselves in all climatic zones of the globe and are one of the most powerful and sustainable technologies for roof and façade systems. ETFE foil systems improve the carbon footprint of a building remarkably: In 2011, Vector Foiltec was the first company in the world to receive an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for transparent cladding.
