Alto Adige Terlano Sauvignon

This Sauvignon Blanc grows in Missian, in the area of Eppan. The loamy limestone soil there provides the vines with a fair amount of mineral nutrients. The small crop of 5,000 kg/ha is picked at three different stages, resulting in an incomparable complexity. One third of the grapes was fermented and matured in a oak barrel, which added richness and longevity to the wine. The rest matured in steel barrels, preserving its fresh, fragrant and pleasantly sour aroma.
