This wine is made from the Piedirosso grapes and is named according to this story: God cried when he recognized in the Gulf of Naples a corner of Lost Paradise.
On the slops of Mount Vesuvius, still today the wines produced there are called Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio, the Tears of Christ.
