WEINHOF KOBLERToday we process the grapes growing on a three-hectare section of the estate, which translates into an annual production cycle of approximately 15,000 bottles.
Our vines, all growing within the tiny commune of Margreid, located in the southern most point of the South Tyrol at an altitude of between 200 and 220 metres. We have planted each vine varietal in the soil best suited to enable it to flourish and have deliberately shunned anything remotely faddish.
We work towards producing wines that best reflect their soil, grape varietal and vintage. The quality of our grapes is of fundamental importance, and this is why we place primary importance on judicious leaf management, appropriate yield levels and late harvesting.
The work carried out in the cellar is geared towards bringing out to the full the character of the grapes maturing on the vines, and our expertise is purely a vehicle for making it all happen.
